About the site

Hello, my name is Michael Higdon and I'm a Public journalist. I've started this site as a way of providing a forum for people on and around the University of Nevada, Reno campus to discuss environmental issues that effect them. I want to defragment the environmental community.

My hope is that discussions will lead to group/team building and will help individual students and larger action groups accomplish their goals through recruitment, idea sharing, event planning and by becoming environmentally active in whatever way they want.

Feel free to start posting discussions about anything related to environment. Post your events, post your concerns or feelings, ask questions, get involved! I encourage any group to "start a club" in order to create niche collectives who can discuss more poignant topics or events that effect them (and be sure to invite other people to watch or participate). I encourage you to blog about your experiences, post photos and videos of yourselves or anything related to environmental issues (such as How-to guides).
