I wanted to briefly touch on all the networking and connections made throughout this project with businesses and individuals. We constructed out bin around the middle of April. It took about three plus hours to put together and undulates like a worm. It is three cinderblocks high, and about ninety feet long. We were successful in its completion and now we are waiting for worms to be put into it. It was nice to have everyone work together and to finally see some of our hard work be physically manifested rather than planning and planning with no results. There is a huge re-cap needed which I will be doing throughout the day today. UNAE 310 is finished as a class but I feel confident that our goals in this aren't going to end with it. So I am in the UNAE 310 class that is in the process of figuring out the feasibility of creating a composting system for the DC and eventually the whole school...which would be AWESOME.
