Coal forum update 2

I've made some progress this week though not as much as this week.

I talked to the Nevada Environmental Protection division and am hoping to get one of their technical people on the panel.

I need to e-mail Sierra Pacific to get their project managers up here.

I've set a date April 29 at 6 p.m. and will add an event to the new events page as soon as I get the panelists and some more people confirmed.

I got a quote on the refreshments catering. I have to make an appointment with the journalism school next week to see if they're willing to pay for it.

I've also come to the realization that this is a huge topic - not that it wasn't before. So now I have to do research and decide how to frame the topic in order to keep the forum to about an hour long dialogue and how to cover it in a public way. I'm thinking the question is "do we want more coal?" because we already know it's legal and follows federal regulations, but does the public want coal based on the environmental factors and is it really a stable fuel or is something else better?
