Bin Building Review

We constructed out bin around the middle of April. It took about three plus hours to put together and undulates like a worm. It is three cinderblocks high, and about ninety feet long. We were successful in its completion and now we are waiting for worms to be put into it. It was nice to have everyone work together and to finally see some of our hard work be physically manifested rather than planning and planning with no results. Darren Murphy, the founder of Sierra Worm Solutions, graciously donated a five gallon bucket of worms with bedding plus another five gallon bucket of food scraps to the corner of our first bin. Those little guys are still wriggling around with more to come soon!
